The first decision in any luxury house is what to leave out.
Our pages are mostly empty because the pieces deserve the silence around them. Our colour palette is two - royal navy and rose-gold - because three would be too many. Our wordmark is set in a single weight of a single typeface, drawn in 1784 in Verona, because anything more would compete with the cloth.
This is the mathematics of restraint. It is harder, not easier. To put nothing on the page requires more confidence than to put everything.
